MARKETNET ANNOUNCES NEW SEMINAR SERIES ON EBUSINESS EVOLUTION

First Seminar - "Web 2.0" to be held on April 19th

DALLAS, TX. April 11, 2007 - eBusiness is rapidly evolving with the advancements in social computing that result from Web 2.0 capabilities. These changes are beginning to force businesses to rethink how their products and services are marketed online. To help educate DFW Area organizations on Social Computing and Web 2.0, MarketNet is proud to announce a new series of seminars on the "eBusiness Evolution." Held on April 19, 2007 "Web 2.0", the first seminar will be co-sponsored by RedDot, The Open Text Web Solutions Group.

"We are in the midst of a paradigm shift in how businesses interface with their customers online. This is a crucial topic for many of our clients and we are hoping that this seminar will help them understand what buzz topics such as 'Web 2.0' and 'Social Computing' really mean for their business," said Jill Bach, MarketNet founder and one of the seminar presenters.

The presenters for this seminar are Jill Bach and Matthew Brown. Jill founded MarketNet in 1994 and is one of the early pioneers in web site development. Jill's vision and knowledge has lead MarketNet to create innovative ways to use web-based technology to make businesses more profitable. Matthew joined MarketNet in 2007 as Senior Director of e-Commerce. Matthew brings over 12 years experience in e-commerce, in both domestic and international markets, previously serving as Director of E-commerce at Fossil, Inc.
